How do I make a payment to A.V. Arias & Co.?

We gladly accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.  We also accept cash, checks, wire transfers, cashier’s checks and money orders.

How do I upload/download a QuickBooks file to A.V. Arias & Co.?

If you would like to continue to add activity while we are working on your QuickBooks file, you will need to use an “Accountant’s Copy,” which allows you to set a cutoff date after which we will not be able to make any changes.

To send us your QuickBooks as an ”Accountant’s copy”, in QuickBooks go to:

  1. File/accountant’s copy/send to accountant.
  2. Set a dividing date of 15 days after the period end (for example, for 12/31 period end, use 1/15 of the next year as the cutoff date).
  3. Enter our email address as info@avariaso.com, or enter the email of your staff accountant or manager.  Please also include your own email address.
  4. Create a password and include it in the note when you send the file, or send us a separate email with the password.

Please note that you will not be able to perform any account reconciliations while we are in control of the accountant’s copy.  Once we are done working on the file, we will send you an email so you can import the changes we have made.

To Download the changes from the Accountant’s Copy, in QuickBooks go to:

  1. File/accountant’s copy/client activities/import accountant’s changes from web.

This should be all you need to know to send and receive your QuickBooks file via the internet.  As always, if you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at (619) 296-2123 or info@avariasco.com.
