ALFONSO V. ARIAS, CPA

Mr. Arias joined the international accounting firm of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in 1965 in Los Angeles. He worked in the national Tax Office in Washington, D.C. where his duties included responsibility for liaison work with the Department of the Treasury and the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service. He joined the San Diego office in 1977 and became a partner in 1978. He formed the firm     A. V. Arias & Co. in 1981.

Mr. Arias has extensive experience in taxation of corporations and partnerships in a wide range of industries in addition to expertise in individual taxation, financial and business planning, business valuation, litigation support, audits, reviews, and compilations, negotiation and consulting in connection with mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses. Mr. Arias is a Management Consultant, an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a registered investment advisor. Mr. Arias is an expert in business valuations.

Mr. Larsen joined the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand in 1969 in Salt Lake City. He became a partner in 1979, and joined the firm of A. V. Arias & Co. in 1985.

Mr. Larsen is expert in the evaluation of computer systems for accounting, auditing and financial applications. He has extensive audit and accounting experience in a variety of industries, and has participated in audits of fraudulent activities, including determination of the extent and methods used. His experience includes S.E.C. matters, including registration statements for public offerings, exempt private placements and periodic reporting. Mr. Larsen also has extensive experience in taxation of individuals, partnerships, trusts and corporations and is expert in business valuations

Ms. Feria began her accounting career in 1981 with a local accounting firm; she joined Pannell Kerr Forster Los Angeles, in 1982, and joined A. V. Arias & Co. in 1984.

Ms. Feria has extensive experience in taxation of individuals, partnerships and corporations in a variety of industries. Her public accounting experience with both national and local accounting firms has included accounting and taxation of small and medium-sized businesses.

Ms. Jacks began her accounting career in 1982 in San Diego, California. In 1997 she joined A. V. Arias & Co. Ms. Jacks holds a Bachelor of Science degree, a Masters in Accounting (Taxation), and a Juris Doctor degree.

Ms. Jacks has extensive experience in the taxation of individuals, partnerships and corporations in a variety of industries. In addition to tax preparation, Ms. Jacks works closely with clients to maximize strategic tax planning and savings. This expertise looks not only at the short term, but entails long term planning to achieve maximum results. Her experience includes the design and implementation of accounting software customized for the client’s industry or personal use.
